This was supposed to be posted first few days of this year, but life and work happened and I got too distracted. So before this month ends, let me finish this last year's reflection. It was supposed to be like a year-life lessons but I didn't want to make this post a negative one, so here I am trying to finish this post about my 2022 highlights - happy memories..

L I F E
- Turned a year older and I'm in my thirties! *cries* I'm definitely getting older and happier. We didn't really celebrated the day of my birthday because I had to go to work, cons of working nights.
- On my birthday, my family gifted me an iPad. This year is the start of me organizing my personal life and work life by using Notion and Digital Planning, surprisingly ended the year still using the Digital Planner I have. Hopefully to share my progress in here ~
- We planted vegetables in our backyard which is pretty awesome! Home grown vegetables on our table! We tried to plant bananas before in our old house, but the deer tried to take them before it even grew. So having a fenced home is a plus, the only thing you need to look out are squirrels! Haha
- Got sick with Covid in August. Started with what I thought was a seasonal flu (cough) and after four Covid at home kits, I tested positive. And all of us in our household tested positive.
- First time treating myself out for dinner, since my sister went on her Vegas trip. It was definitely a fun experience, was able to see the beautiful sunset. Will probably do it again this year~
- Reached my first work anniversary in the hospital! Yay. Also gotten few customer feedbacks from my other work as a sales associate, I printed all their comments and kept them. It's rewarding to read those kind of positive feedbacks!
- Made a platform switch: from wordpress, finally I've decided to use blogger for more personal posts and travel posts! It took me a couple months to decide whether to stick on a free wordpress blog or try blogger, surprisingly blogger is easier to navigate and to work on. Upon setup, I was able to get a very clean slate blogger theme template off of Etsy.
- I started to create short reels as a daily update, I hope to keep up this year to create short clips of memories that i can look back in years.
R E L A T I O N S H I P S — L O V E
- My love and I celebrated our three year anniversary...still in long distance. I cannot believe we're on our third year (and as I am writing this blog, we're soon to be on our fourth! *kilig*)
- My love and I celebrated our 42nd month anniversary together (finally, was able to see each other)! Had Japanese BBQ dinner and we had so much fun~
- And last relationship update, we are engaged! (More details and story on a separate post)
T R A V E L
- My entire family visiting Holland Ridge for their annual Tulip Picking! We had so much fun.
- Visited new places: first on our 2022 list was Downtown Philadelphia.
- Then spent the fourth of July weekend in Ocean City, Maryland. And stopped by to Virginia to see family.
- Went home in the Philippines with my mom in November...finally, after five years! Got to meet my boyfriend (now fiancé) for the first time.
- My first domestic travel in the Philippines, we visited my fiancé's family in Iloilo.
- Also, visited Baguio...where we got engaged! My most favorite and memorable trip ever! Honestly can still picture out that afternoon, it was so simple.
Year 2022 has been great, full of happy memories and life lessons which I will forever keep. 2022 is a year my family grew closer, spent time together the best we can (with travels or at home movie nights). You’ve been good, 2022. Hoping for more good news, blessings and happiness in 2023!
