Have you heard of the famous Cristo Redentor or Christ the Redeemer statue in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil? If yes, isn't one of the greatest statue ever? I wanted to see that with my own eyes, but having to travel to Brazil will sure cost me a lot. So luckily when we had our vacation in the Philippines, we got to see the Statue of the Risen Christ. A thirty-foot statue that resembles the one in Brazil, read rest of the Monasterio de Tarlac in Wiki [here].
I didn't have to book a flight to Brazil to see the statue and I know it's not the replica of it, but hey it's similar to the one they have in Brazil. Right? The municipality of Tarlac City has its own rendition of the said statue.
Monasterio de Tarlac is located at San Jose, Tarlac City, Philippines. The trip from the city itself to the place was about an hour or less and I'm telling you it's totally worth the hike!
One of the best trip I had in 2016, plus it's a trip with the whole family where we got to experience new place and just enjoy the serene place.
I had a video footage of the whole trip, but decided not to upload it since it was a bit shakey and the quality isn't good. But I hope you enjoyed the photos ~
